Dining outside in the summer in Oregon is wonderful. No humidity. Nice weather. No bugs to speak of. Almost perfect.

Although we have nice weather off and on during the spring, it's not like you want to eat outside at night without a jacket or a roaring fireplace nearby. And while summer here doesn't often kick into gear until after mid July, if the spirit is willing and it isn't raining, we offer the option of eating outside at the cozy rustic outdoor dining room attached to the workshop and smokehouse or the romantic patio attached to the main house and strung with dreamy outdoor lights. In both locations, we have well stocked fireplaces using wood from the property that add a rustic camp-like ambiance to your evening meal no matter what time of year it is.

The table is yours for the evening of course, but about 10 p.m. the early birds of the late night crowd start to show up for Sub Rosa's famous late night DJ scene and occasional live show. Check out our music page for a sampling of what has been spinning lately.
